The wait is over for lakhs of students in Kerala. The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has released the Plus Two results for 2026. If you appeared for the exam, you can now check your marks online.
This year, 77.97 per cent of students passed the exam. This is a slight improvement from last year when 77.81 per cent cleared it. Over 30,000 students scored an A+, which is quite impressive.
Where Can You Check Your Results?
The Kerala Board has made it easy for students to access their results. You can check your marks on these official websites:
- keralaresults.nic.in
- results.kite.kerala.gov.in
- results.kerala.gov.in
- dhsekerala.gov.in
- results.hse.kerala.gov.in
Apart from websites, you have two more options. You can download your results from the Digilocker app or website. The Saphalam app also shows your results.
How to Download Results from Digilocker
Digilocker is a handy tool for accessing your marksheet digitally. Here is how you can get your results there:
- Open the Digilocker app or visit digilocker.gov.in
- Log in using your registered mobile number
- Go to the 'Education and Learning' section
- Search for Kerala Board Public Examination
- Click on the class 12 marksheet option
- Enter your details when asked
- Your marksheet will appear in the issued documents section
The digital marksheet is as valid as the physical one. You can use it for college admissions and other purposes.
About the 2026 Plus Two Exam
The DHSE conducted the class 12 exam between March 6 and March 28, 2026. Around 4,52,437 students registered for the examination this year.
The board set up 1,984 centres for the exam. Most of these centres were in Kerala (1,966), with a few in the Gulf region (7), Lakshadweep (9), and Mahe (2).
Around 3,700 teachers worked hard to evaluate the answer sheets at 8 valuation camps. The valuation for the vocational stream started on April 6.
What You Need to Pass
To pass the Plus Two exam, students need to score at least 30 per cent in each subject. They also need an overall pass mark combining all subjects.
Students must pass both the internal assessment and the theory exam separately. You cannot compensate for poor performance in one by doing well in the other.
Things to Check on Your Marksheet
When you get your results, make sure to verify these details:
- Your name is spelled correctly
- Roll number matches your admit card
- Registration number is accurate
- Date of birth is correct
- Marks in each subject are displayed properly
- Overall result status is clear
The results you see online right now are provisional. Your school will give you the actual marksheet later. Keep this physical marksheet safe because you will need it during college admissions.
Special Case for Gulf Region Students
Due to tensions in the Middle East, the board initially postponed and then cancelled exams in the Gulf region. Students from those areas need not worry.
The board will evaluate their marks using a different method. They will combine class 11 marks with practical assessments and school term exam scores to give these students their final results.
What Happens Next?
After checking your results, you might want to know about the next steps. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation. The board will announce the dates and process for re-evaluation soon.
The Scrutiny, Improvement, and Year (SAY) exam dates will also be announced shortly. Students who failed or want to improve their scores can appear for these exams.
For students who passed, the next step is college admission. Keep your marksheet ready and start researching the courses and colleges you want to apply to.
Why Multiple Websites?
You might wonder why the Kerala Board provides so many websites for checking results. The answer is simple: to handle the heavy traffic.
When results are announced, lakhs of students try to check their marks at the same time. This can crash a single website. By spreading the load across multiple websites and apps, the board makes sure everyone can access their results without long waits or technical problems.
If one website is slow or not loading, simply try another one from the list above.
The Digital Shift
The Kerala Board has embraced digital platforms in a big way. Apart from traditional websites, students can now use apps like Digilocker and Saphalam. This makes it easier to access and store important documents.
The digital marksheet from Digilocker is accepted by most colleges and institutions. You do not need to carry physical copies everywhere. This reduces the risk of losing important documents.
Keep in mind that while the online systems are convenient, technical glitches can happen. If you face any issues accessing your results, wait for some time and try again. Peak hours right after result announcement tend to have more traffic.
Students who performed well should feel proud of their achievement. Those who did not get the expected results should not lose hope. There are always opportunities to improve and move forward in your academic path.
